Well, sort of. It’s been a loooooong minute since I was last here. I know! I know! I was supposed to be away just for the summer. My sincerest apologies to all of my readers who have been wondering about me. I promise to make every effort to stay in touch more frequently should I have to be away again. Thank you to all who left comments and emailed me. I appreciate your kindness. A lot has gone on (including the massive hurricane, Ike) during my absence; one thing led to another, then another, and another, and before I knew it, it was March 2009 already. I still have quite a few things in the works at the moment, but I just wanted to pop in to let everyone know that I am alive and well. I’ve been busy with a few other projects (I’ll fill you in later on those), but I’ve been missing food blogging and have decided that it’s time to get crackin’ again.
Oh, and guess what? While I was away, I managed to lose 25 pounds. That’s right, and I’m looking forward to shedding a whole lot more, so when I return, my new focus will be on mindful, healthful cooking, dining and living. And I will definitely be slimming down some of my old recipes. I plan to resume blogging sometime in
April May, so keep an eye out for me.
For those of you who wish to keep up with me on the regular, there are now two ways you can do it. You can be notified by email (strictly confidential) whenever I post a new entry (see right sidebar “Get Notified“) and/or you can follow me on Twitter and know what’s going on everyday outside of the blog. Both options are quick and easy to do, as well as convenient ways to know what I’m up to and when to visit for new posts, so please check it out. Soon, I will include a mini Twitter window on my sidebar so that all visitors can read my latest Tweets on the fly. Who knows, you may even want to Tweet yourself, if you don’t already. It’s a fun way to learn new things, meet new people from around the world or simply stay in touch with friends, family or whomever you choose. I sure have lots of fun doing it.
