I finally received my copy of her self-titled, debut album, Nyee (pronounced “nigh-ee”) Moses. I’m not a professional critic, by any stretch, but I feel compelled to toss in my $.02 on this piece. Her vibrant talent is undeniable and the album is certainly all I had hoped it would be and more. This joint has all the right elements in perfect balance — lyrics, vocals, music, arrangement. As a wine lover, I make it a point to sample at least two new varieties each month; one red, one white. To be clear, I am not an expert on the subject, but through the years I’ve tasted quite a few and I know what I like.
